How I've never eaten at one of these restaurants before I moved to Greenville is beyond me. My first visit I was surprised at the bill. I thought "This better be a damn good cheeseburger for that kind of money." It's a damn good cheeseburger and I'd happily pay that bill again and again. I don't know what they do to the hamburgers before they cook them, but it has moved Fuddruckers out of the top spot. Unbeknownst to me, the cheeseburger is a double. The fries are fantastic. If you're eating by yourself, a small order should do you fine.
The staff here are really friendly. They keep the place clean and always greet you and tell you to have a good day when you leave. I'm so used to the dead eyed impatient stares I would receive from the teenagers at the McD's counters back in Illinois, that I almost felt uncomfortable having people in this industry act like they were happy to be there.
While I enjoy the choices the Freestyle Coke machines offer, if you get behind someone that is confused by it, or studies the screen like calculus, expect your food to get cold before you can get your drink. Luckily at the Pelham Rd location, there's two.
My suggestion to make this place even better would be to stay open until at least midnight and add a fried egg to the toppings. I'd gladly pay extra for it. I'm tempted to bring in a slab of cream cheese and some chopped jalapeño and on onions to top my burger. -

Service is always friendly although the wait is usually about ten minutes. Food is good; I usually get a grilled cheese with lettuce, mayo, ketchup, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms. Sounds weird, but makes a cheap, satisfying meal (less than $3)! The cajun fries are delicious and even a small size yields a lot of fries.

Great service at this location, I know when I come here I'll get consistency. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

This place always seems pretty clean and the employees are nice but the wait is long and the burgers just aren't very good compared to other places. I know there are die hard fans of five guys and I wish I could agree but the fries are not good and the burgers are just ok. My cheeseburger was greesy and had no flavor.

Good service...quick burgers to go! I didn't see any milkshakes at this location. That was disappointing but burgers remain best part of Five Guys...will return if in area.
